Borrowing Arrows is a cross-border investment and company-building platform designed for a structural shift: China’s science & technology is increasingly world-leading, while the most profitable, liquid markets remain in the United States and the EU, albeit with rising protectionist barriers. We navigate this inversion by moving inventions across borders: converting breakthrough Chinese technology into Western-ready products and partnerships.

Our Initiatives
We operate through two complementary engines:
First, our China Tech Licensing & Commercialization Fund acquires or licenses ex-China rights and rebuilds the asset for Western adoption: localization, policy & regulatory strategy, and strategic partnerships that unlock scale.
Second, our Joint Venture Incubator pairs China-based R&D and manufacturing with U.S.-based product management, go-to-market, fundraising, and government relations.
To lubricate these pathways, we also advise on how to embed Chinese frontier technology inside compliant joint ventures -- delivering innovation Western firms can’t build fast or cheap enough internally, and Chinese partners can’t commercialize alone amid tightening export controls and protectionist barriers. The result is a pragmatic bridge across a widening divide -- turning cross-border tension into a generational advantage.
